GPU graph shows 0% usage

Question

At a critical render stage of a 16 scene animation.

All element design was done in Ai & PS.

Some scenes use AE cameras.

Each scene is 10-30sec in duration.

The system is CUDA enabled (mercury playback) and we are running Hardware Rendering.

Adobe RAM usage is set to use 6GB (of 32GB) for other apps (26GB available for Adobe).

Running renders through ME.

Rendering H265, HD 1080.

All monitoring graphs show me the following:

CPU Usage 67%

Memory Usage 50-68%

GPU usage 0%

Can someone please help me understand why GPU usage is at 0% while all check boxes (to my knowledge) is checked for GPU usage.

Am I missing something?

My system is:
Windows 10 Pro x64 (ver 1909)
MSI P75 9SF i9
32GB RAM

NVidia GForce RTX 2070 16GB

Storage = multiple internal SSD

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
