GPU NOT AVAILABLE INTEL(R) HD Graphics 620

I am not able to use my GPU in after effects and my PC uses INTEL(R) HD Graphics 620 and I have tried every possible way to get it working from updating compatibility list to updating drivers

my PC : HP laptop 12GB ram, i3 8th gen, INTEL(R) HD Graphics 620

please help me

  1. What is the exact version of After Effects are you using: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/faq-how-to-find-the-exact-version-of-after-effects-you-re-using/td-p/9972137?page=1
  2. Do you see any information regarding GPU if you go to After Effects Preferences > Previews > GPU Information?
  3. Please share a screenshot of the GPU driver version installed on your computer: https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/how-to-check-nvidia-driver-version-easily/

hey,

here is the info you asked for

1. 17.0.6

2. no information about GPU

3. picture has been attached

GPU usage is 0% while CPU is 100%

Thanks for sharing the details. Looks like there's an update available for your GPU driver (27.20.100.8236). Here's you can download it from: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/96551/Intel-HD-Graphics-620

Here's how to install it: https://www.intel.in/content/www/in/en/support/articles/000005629/graphics-drivers.html

I'd recommend to verify the installation from Device Manager.

Once done, go to After Effects Preferences > Previews > GPU Information and share a screenshot.
