Gradient problem

Hello, there. I have a problem when I move my file from illustrator to after effects. My gradient shadow in illustrator is good but when I move it to after effects, it's like an object not shadow.

What color depth are you using? Along with what Mylenium has suggested, it might be worth seeing if there's a difference between 8, 16 and 32 bpc

Check the raster effect settings in AI as well as the hardware acceleration settings. This looks like the typical degradation with GPU preview mode enabled that soem users experience with weak GPUs. Other than that simply consider re-creating such basic stuff natively in AE using layer styles and effects.
