HELP! After Effects not rendering video properly

Opened AE today to work on a project I've been thinking about for a few weeks only to find any HD video looks like a blank green screen. I've used OBS to rip some video from the internet and keying things in and out. Mercury GPU rendering is enabled and the data is there, but the playback is completely green. Can anyone help? Hopefully I'm explaining this well enough!

All of the footage is masked and keyed. If you have nothing to add, why even try to add anything?

Hi Man Salad,

Your issue looks similar to the one that's discussed in this thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/updated-to-ae-v18-0-build-39-now-all-my-mp4-video-footage-imports-are-green/m-p/11898549#M165250

Can you follow the steps and let us know if that helps?

Thanks,

Rameez

I am not sure what is going on but it looks like you are trying to use After Effects as a video editing app. Most of my comps are under 7 seconds long and one shot. I don't see any FX on your shots. Just wondering what you are doing in the comp.

If you are just cutting up your hijacked Star Wars footage (almost always a copyright violation) use Premiere Pro.
