Help: Audio waveform MOGRT using replacement media

Okay. So working on an audio waveform template using the new media replacement features. In theory, producers can drag/drop footage into the template and generate fresh waveforms. I'm testing using .mov files, and coming up bust. Replacement media supports new video, but won't replace the audio, which appears to be permanently embedded in the MOGRT – made worse by how the audio waveform filter will only reference that embedded track. Is this template even possible? Or is this too complex a scenario for the relatively new replacement media feature?

I don't think it's possible, even more so since the Premiere audio pipeline overrides the AE one, anyway. This clearly will need time to be worked out.
