Help finding a tutorial or guidence

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone had any tutoails or guidence they can send my way. I was trying to create a splash explosion similar to this only in after effects

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to do it. I have been watcing a few red giant turoals but I was not sure if there was a better toolset or plugin to look into. Or ateast get somewhat close to the effect
