Help : incorrect menu operation

Hello,

I can't use after effect anymore. I have tried everything, as soon as I want to enter the software menus I get an error message: After effect (warning): Incorrect menu operation.

I deleted the preference files in C: "users" "my name" "AppData" "Roaming" "Adobe" After effect".... without success

Without any system information and other details we can't really tell you much. This elusive error has multiple potential causes and while deleting the preferences certainly is one of the possible solutions, it must not at all be the valid one for you. Could just as well be an issue with hardware acceleration or that sort of thing...

two people who use after effect are affected by this problem, yet it is two completely different hardware configurations. The only common point is the network.
Could it be a network configuration problem?
