Help me about an interactive and dynamic "movie".

Hi all!

I'm basically a noob about editing videos.

This is basically my idea:

playing a video that can interact with the viewer (with mouse on pc/mac or with a remote control on tv) without "stopping" itself.

User can choose between more video, like a "cause-effect" interaction, or (computer science language) an if-else effect

For example:

the video is starting with:

A is walking on the street, he reaches a crossroad and viewer have to decide between:

- taking right way.

- taking left way.

then the "picked" one is played with transition.

there will be obviously more interactions during the "entire clip".

The problem is: How to do that?!

Sorry, but After Effects can't make interactive videos.  It just makes video files.  You'd have to use a different application for the interactivity.

Hey Franc - I'm afraid you're in the wrong forum for this one. After Effects would help you create any animated buttons or text for your video. But for the user interface you'd want to use something like XD Adobe Experience Design or Dreamweaver. Good luck on your project. Head over to the tutorials section on XD to get started with that.
