Help, User Preset Folder

Question

Can anyone help? So a few months ago, I decided to delete after effects because of personal reasons. I recently redownloaded it and I noticed all of my user presets are gone, making editing really hard. Is there any way I can get those back? I think I had after effects 2021. Please help.

User Presets are saved in a specific folder on your system. If you can find old .ffx files you can copy them to the default Custom Presets folder on your system, then refresh the Effects and Presets panel. We have no way of knowing where you stored those files because they can be stored anywhere on your system.

If you deleted all Adobe files on your computer when you removed After Effects and your .ffx files were deleted. If they were deleted, they are gone. You will just have to search your hard drives for .ffx files and see if you can find them.
