Help with "After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {effect param_index out of range ([1...num_streams-1])} (5027 :: 150)"

Hi all!

I've been having some issues with vector files lately and this is the latest one. When I click on a particular imported .EPS file this error pops up. The file is visible and it only appears if I click on it in the project bin or timeline. When I click "ok" i can keep working, but every time I click it it reappears. I saved it as a .AI as well and it still occurs.

After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {effect param_index out of range ([1...num_streams-1])} (5027 :: 150)

I'm on a Mac:

Late 2013 27 inch iMac

El Capitan 10.9.5

3.4 GHz i5

NVIDIA 78M Card

After Effects CC 2014 v 13.2.0.49

I've opened the same file on two other similar (but not identical) iMacs and it's worked fine. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

    Hi Cory Livengood,

Sorry for this trouble you seem to be having. My suggestion is to update your software to the current version. Can you try that and then report back with the results? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Kevin

I have a similar error, but specifically with the Reshape effect.  When I add the effect, I get:

After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {effect param_index out of range ([1...num_streams-1])} (5027 :: 150)

I am on the most recent version of AE, on a Mac running High Sierra 10.13.5.
