Help with creating an infinite background

I'm trying to recreate the effect of the background from this video(I added the video under this post). However I don't understand how they grabbed the image and were able to lay it over the original image again. What key where they holding when they did that? (I do understand how they put in the loop key) Thanks for the help!

You have to study whatever tutorial this is. Typically one would use Motion Tile or Repetile to create all sorts of repeating patterns.

Sadly the video that I was watching wasn't a tutorial just a quick breakdown of a much bigger animation. But thanks I'll look into those topic, I appreciate it!
