Question

Hey, I have a problem with After Effects . It doesn't open after crashing ! What should I do? Please help!

I am trying to open my After Efect but it always opens a window of how I want it to open like in safe mode or manage plugins or continue, and I try all, but they stay stuck for some reason, like 20 minutes stuck ! I have no Idea what to do !!

Got it! Thanks for sharing the details. What happens when you click on “Reset Preferences”? Does it show you any error? Is there a dedicated GPU installed on your computer? If you haven’t, try restarting your computer once and then launching After Effects.

Hey, yes i tried “reset Preferences” but it stay stuck after 20 minute . it’s like it stay on a loop!yes i did try restarding the computer and again launching Ae ! But nothing!God!! I even sign out from my Adobe Acount and reinstalled it but again the same happens!

PLEASE someone tell me if ther is a soluttion to this problem!!

Can you try removing the third-party plug-ins? Here’s how:

Go to the following location and remove (or move to a different location to keep a backup) all the files and folders except dummy.txt and try to launch After Effects.
Location on Windows - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore

yes sure I have 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700F (2.10 GHz) processor, a 32,0 GB (31,8 GB usable) installed RAM. I this my pc is it’s not the problem then again I don’t know what is sooo.. ok when I double click Ae now I alway have thi pop wind

ow even when I reinstalled from beginning!

Have you tried do “Start in Safe Mode”? You turn off some third party plug-ins if the safe mode works well.

Hey, hes already try 2-3 times now! I’m telling you I am hopless ! Is ther a wayy to contact Adoby people or thatis out of the question ??

That's not ideal. Sorry to hear that you're running into the issue. Could you share a few details?

What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? What happens after 20 minutes? Does it open or crash, or do you have to force quit the app?
