High res PNG pixelated and blurry in after effects

Hello! I have a 168px x 48px After Effects file, and when I place a png of the same dimension it's pixelated, and then when I post a png of double the pixel width it's still blurry. The viewing resolution in After Effects is set to Full so it's not that. I don't know what to do!! Thank you!

You are viewing the pixels at more than 700% magnification. The comp is not pixelated, it's only 168 pixels wide and 48 pixels high.

PPI only affects the printed size. Resolution is the number of pixels. Your comp is very low resolution. Video is only pixels; the PPI or DPI setting has nothing to do with video. If you want a bigger image, you'll need more pixels.
