Hi,

Are there a good ways to highlight text of data-heavy bitmaps (imported from powerpoint) without having to edit the exported files and to re-create the text bits with AE text tool?

    AFAIK, only Photoshop and perhaps recently, Illustrator, provide the Edit Text feature and the feature only works if the text has not been rasterized; turned into a bitmap. Once text has been turned into a bitmap, the font info is lost and is essentially replaced with pixels.
