Home key shortcuts not responding

Hi all,

I'm having an issue that I can't get to the bottom of. I use After Effects at work and sometimes bring that work home. I use a mac at both locations. On one of the systems, I have an issue with unresponsive shortcuts/hotkeys that include the Home key. For instance, neither the 'Center Layer in View' command (cmd+home) nor the 'Center Anchor Point in Layer' command (opt+cmd+home) are responsive on one of the systems. I looked through the shortcuts in System Preferences to see if anything was hijacking those shortcuts to no avail.

I've installed multiple versions of After Effects on the troubled system but that hasn't made a difference. I haven't been able to find an answer on the forums either. Does anybody else have or have the solution to this issue? I'd appreciate any help on the matter.
