The most efficient workflow depends entirely on the shot. Sometimes, you start by tracking with Mocha AE. Other times, you motion-stabilize the footage, remove the objects using Photoshop, and then put the motion back in. Sometimes, Content-Aware Fill is the right tool.

Show us the shot, and we can make reasonable suggestions for an efficient workflow. I don't have time to detail all of the possible workflows now.
