I noticed that my little icons next to source name and parent link have disappeared, any idea on how I get those back? I circled the area I'm talking about. This is totally driving me crazy!
You have to have at least one layer in the composition before anything shows up in any of the columns. Checking the bottom left corner of the Timeline, I also see that you do not have the Switches or the Modes columns turned on. Loading footage in that timeline, you are only going to see the footage name and the Parent/Link options.
