How do I get this colour effect?

Hei guys, would need some help!

I am trying to get this animated effect similar to the image below. Now I have managed to replicate the streaks somewhat using Trapsode particular, but I am really struggling with the colour.

 

Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated.

Duplicate the layer/ pre-composition, experiment with blending modes like Multiply, Darken, Overlay and tweak the underlying colors and opacity of the particles.
