How do I Make AE run smoother and crash less?

I a'm still fighting with AE, It bearly sees my face and it decides to crashes.

My laptops is a Victus,

AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS w/ Redom 780M Graphics

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU

I a'm already not useing any plugings, and it still crashes.

Hi, what kind of footage are you using? If it's H.264 or H.265, you might try transcoding it. Let me know if that helps. Thx, ^KM

i am useing MP4 HD if you rememeber right, its dowloaded it via a youtube to MP4 website.

Legend

As Kevin suggested, try transcoding the media. You can use Media Encoder to transcode. Downloaded footage can cause such issues.
