Hello there,

I need to lengthen only a section within a layer. This section is the long yellow bar which I need to see more of, via the Timeline while within a layer. How would I go about doing this?

Thank you tons!

Take a minute to go through the basics in the User Guide. Your composition needs to be longer (Composition Settings Ctrl/Cmnd + k) and you need to extend the out point by dragging or by setting a new out point.

You should also spend about 10 minutes in the Window/Workspace/Learn menu and follow along with the tutorial on the UI and basic AE workflow.

One more thing: * The "Drag & Drop here..." area is buggy and should not be used to share images. Please use the toolbar or just drag your images to the reply field.

Okay cool! I am checking out the manual now, then I will see what I can do. Also, would this mean I should extend the whole main comp, or just this smaller precomp? Thanks Rick!
