These effects require a 3D camera solve to to place objects in your scene and have them appear like they're really there. This is not simple stuff and you didn't list your experience with After Effects, so going into detail might not be helpful.

A 3D camera solve can be done directly in After Effects or with a planar tracker like Mocha. Ae includes Mocha Ae, which is great, but the correct tool depends on what you're trying to achieve.

The blue and red rectangles need to be made in 3D, but it still comes back to needing to create an accurate camera solve because the camera moves and shakes a little.

I didn't watch the whole video, but some of it could be done in Premiere Pro, but more likely the effects were done in After Effects.
