How to achieve rubbery/bouncy text animation

Question

Hi all!I've been wondering for some time now how to achieve this kind of animation effect in AE. I know how to animate the write-on text effect but I can't seem to figure how each letter stroke looks like it is bouncing/rubbery.Here is the effect I want to achieve. Any tips?

Anything from also animating the underlying path for the strokes to applying distortion effects like the Puppet tool, Mesh Warp, Liquify and any other effects you can think of. In any case, more than anythzing else it's about understanding aniamtion timing and how to use the capabilities of tools rather than looking for quick, automated ways to do it.
