whene you make a simple glow swipe with rectengle and alpha matte ext ... how do u make the rectangle dent like that like its wrapped around the shape ... ?

That could be as simple as some animated shape layers on top of a white shape layer, with a glow applied. Here's everything I did in this screenshot. The project is only one shape layer with one effect.

Could be as trivial as the Page Turn effect with some additional effects thrown on after that. in any case it's probably simply built as a separate block in a pre-comp, not just a single effect or preset.
