How to Animate the fill as a progress bar ?

Hello folks,

i wish to make an animation with the filling of those stars

They should rappresent my skills about a language and I need to simulate the "progess bar" of the skill using the fill. Sorry if the concept is not clear.

 

How can I make this?

It depends on how you want to animate your progress bar.

You can create a layer with empty stars (only stroke) and use another layer (the stars that are with a red fill) on top of it, where you can use an effect such as "linear wipe" or you can use a mask to "fill" the empty stars in the bottom layer.

Of course, you may want a more complex animation, you will do it also with those 2 layers by animating the top one (with the fill color) as you like.
