Hi everyone, I found this reel on instagram and it impressed me a lot. These transisitons are so clean and fascinating and I just wondered, how to use them in my videos. Can somebody explain how to create these "transitions"? Thx in advance

Correct answer Rick Gerard

Rotoscope or mask a layer so the subject is isolated. Scale up the layer or make it 3D, and move it toward the camera until it fills the frame. Move it back into its original position over about 6 or 8 frames, enable motion blur, then animate the opacity of the mask (rotoscoping to reveal the original background and complete the transition.
