How to decrease resolution from 1920x1080 to 720?

i have after effcets CC in windows 10.

I have this template with resolution 1920x1080. After rendering with this resolution my video player keeps on buffering. Maybe because the resolution is really big.

So when I try to render, where settings should I go to change resolution?

    First problem: you have created a custom render setting that includes no compression. The likelihood that a "lossless with alpha" file will playback in real time in a media player is very small. Until you are an expert in video formats you should be using the standard presets. Custom should not appear in the render cue unless you really know what you are doing.

    If you rendering a file you want to distribute (watch, post to the web, upload to Vimeo or YouTube), then you should be using the Adobe Media Encoder to render an h.264 MP4 file using one of the presets. If you are rendering a file to use in further production then you want a visually lossless production format so use the Output Module and pick one of the templates.

    Now that that problem is solved, while your file is rendering, spend some time doing your homework. You have a lot to learn if you plan on creating videos.

    Resolution is not too big for a video player.  More likely an unsupported format.  Probably uncompressed video.  Need details about your rendered file.
