How to detect when a layer has been Time-modified

How can you tell if a layer has had Time-stretch or Time-reverse layer applied? By contrast, Time remapping adds an effect and Freeze frame adds hold keyframes but for those other two functions I can't see where AE stores the info in one of its panels.

Thanks. Did not know about the Stretch column in the timeline. That's what I was looking for.

Select a layer and press UU to reveal all modified properties. Hold down the shift key and press E to see if there are any effects added with the default properties. If that does not tell you anything then enable the Time Stretch columns in the timeline and look for anything that is not 100%. The easiest way to look for any time-stretching is the press the {} icon at the bottom left corner of the timeline. This will enable the In, Out, Duration, and Stretch column.

If you suspect that a layer is playing at the wrong speed you should check the frame rate interpretation in the Project Panel. This requires you to know what frame rate was used when shooting the original footage.
