Question

How to fix 33:4 data missing error with CC 2022??

A while back I was working on a massive project that incurred the 33:4 error. I was able to recover part of it by accessing my auto-save folder but I had this one corrupted file that I still cannot access. I persistently get the 33:4 error when I try to open it, and seeing as how it's impossible to roll back AE past 18.0 now, it seems I am out of luck. I've tried to import the file in to another project, and that doesn't work either. Does any one know if there is a solution to this issue? I am using the most recent version of AE.

Hi @mcbennett___ ,

Yup, this one seems to be a recurring one that goes back all the way to 2017.

Try the suggestions from this post. https://adobe.after.effects.narkive.com/cJn5PZPm/after-effects-error-missing-data-in-file-33-4

You can search the Adobe forums for solutions, but it's a bit messy.

Let us know how you go.
