LLMs and prompting for After Effects scripts and expressions - an introduction to prompting and how to get the most out of it.

Last Sunday, I shared some details on this topic - here's the link to the post on CreativeCOW which has the link to the recorded session as well as URLs to supporting videos and PDF of the Slides used during the event -

The video description has links to an AEP with compositions and accompanying prompts used in the After Effects Effects Assistant and links to all 4 Slide Presentations used at the event.

FWIW, the Interactive Slide Presentation I used at the event is highly automated - all text layers are linked to a CSV (from a Spreadsheet) and all text layers and accompanying Responsive Graphics update their sizes, to provide a consistent look to the slides.

Each text layer is also part of a system that automatically update across all slides - a single change to a font attribute affects the respective text styling on all slides.

This is an example of using AE to develop systems - all part of Using AI to Beat AI. ;-)

So, nothing gets typed in AE - AE provides the larger eco-system from which we can dynamic and intelligent, essentially, autonomous processes and even workflows.

So, creating reproducible assets and developing a system with these assets before possibly extending the system as a script are all possible with coding in After Effects. And even after a script has been crafted, we can then add QoL scripts as Utility Scripts within the main script.
