Question

How to keyframe time stretches?

So I'm trying to connect a default time (no time stretch applied) to a slowed down by 80% (180% time stretched) instrumental. It sounds weird for it to go from 100% to 180% instantly, so I wanted for the time stretch to go up 1% every frame until it reached 180%. So basically, I wanted the instrumental to slow down at a constant rate until it hit a certain speed (180%). I think that maybe time remapping might be the key to this, but I'm not sure as I'm not good with time remapping. If I could get any help with this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: This is in aftereffects!

Hmm yeah, I would solve this with time remapping. You might not be able to get the exact percentage number but you could certainly eyeball it by moving the ending keyframe 180% down the timeline. I'd go this way because then you could adjust the timing transition to your liking in the graph editor. Hope that helps!
