I'm editing a video where im using time remap a a lot and the default way after effects processes slowed audio sounds bad. The problem is it's maintaining audio pitch which makes it sound worse quality when I'd want it to edit pitch to match speed.
Can anyone catch what I'm trying to say? My first language isn't english so ask if u need abetter explanation

Select the Audio layer in the After Effects timeline, go to the Edit/Edit in Adobe Audition menu and wait for Audition to open. Edit the layer in Audition as needed and when you save the file there is an option to replace the audio layer in AE with the edited audio from Audition. The same option is available in Premiere Pro. I use it all the time there, and once in a while in After Effects.

If Audition does not open, install it. If you can't install Audition then you need to upgrade your CC subscription. The version of AE and the Version of Audition should match.

Completely wrong approach. AE isn't an audio editinmg tool and doesn't have any effects that could retain the pitch or allow you to compensate. That's what Audition is for. You need to move on and process your audio there, then import the already manipulated audio track into AE.
