How to mask a simple 1 color silhouette?

I have a simple 1-color (Navy) that is a silhoutte .png that I will be laying over a video. Inside the silhouttte, I would like to have another video playing. I assume this can be done with masking but I am not very proficiant with AE. Is there a way to select by color and paste a video inside the silhoutte or perhaps another way to acomplish this? Thanks so much.

The magic word to look for is "track matte". Put the PNG layer on top of the video layer, assign it as a track matte in the blending/ AV mode options. I suggest you read the online help on the subject or find a tutorial for further clarification.
