Question

How to parent ALL Lumetri parameters between layers

Hi!
I am working in a composition formed with 3 layers from the same footage and an effect over all.
I what to apply a Lumetri color correction to the three layers, and of course, I can´t precompose them or use an adjustment layer because of the effects I am using.
I need an expression or similar to manage the Lumetri controls of the three layers changing only one (parent them) and I need to do it globally, no parameter by parameter.

¿any idea?

I found time ago that Colour Finesse have the "parameters" control very useful for this cases.

Thanks in advance
Juan

How about “copy with property links”?

Hi.

It's a good idea, but it doesn't work with Lumeti Fx :-(

can you show us your exact setup with screenshots? try to be detailed as possible. there is possibly a way to rebuild your setup in a way that will give you the most flexibility.

There is nothing preventing you from dropping your existing comp in a render comp and doing your color correction there. I think you are making this way too difficult. There should be nothing in your comp that putting an adjustment layer on top of everything would hurt. That's not how AE works. I would have to see the project to believe that an adjustment layer wouldn't also do the trick.

If a property does not have a stopwatch it can't be bound by an expression. Lumetri has a bunch of properties that you can keyframe, but important ones like curves can't be keyframed or linked by expressions. You can create a LUT, save it, and then apply it to multiple layers or you can just copy the effect in the Effects Control Panel and paste it to a new layer.

You should be able to get your Lumetri settings correct on one layer, then copy-paste to the other layers.
