How to play preview?

When I press the spacebar it switches to my hand (so I can drag something). And I need to play the video (preview), but for some reason the spacebar turns on the hand mode, not the preview?!?!

    The hand tool popping up likely has nothing to do with it. Holding down space is a hand tool short cut that shows up so quick that even pressing space quickly like you are in the video will cause it to come up. Have you tried just clearing your cache?

    Can you try removing the third-party plug-ins for testing?

    The Hand tool will activate only when you keep pressing the space bar. If that's not the case, please share the following details.

    What's the exact version of After Effects you're using? Also, what are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? Have you tried clearing the After Effects preferences?     I have tried clearing the After Effects preferences and still dont working.


    Specifications:
    CPU - HexaCore Intel Core i5-9400F, 4000 MHz
    GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti (8 GB)
    RAM - 16 GB DDR4-2400 DDR4 SDRAM
    Version OC - 22H2 19045.2846

    Are you on a multi-monitor setup? If so, can you try disconnecting the secondary monitors? If that's not the case, what's the GPU driver version you're using? Are there any third-party plug-ins installed?
