How to see FULL file path in Project window?

I am looking for a missing footage that has been used 3/4 years ago. I can see the path in the File Path column however it displays only part of the text - no more than 45 characters - no matter how much I extend the column with. So the most vital information is hidden under abbreviation"...". How  to see the full text?

Common tips how to reconnect files are irrelevant in this case. I need to see what was the name of the HD it was on.

Hi vanakaruuu,

Thanks for writing in.

I tested it at my end. I imported and file from a really long path and then change the file's location so that shows as missing in After Effects. I am able to see the complete path of the file in the File Path column (I have to full screen the Project panel and then extend the File Path column to the other end of my screen).

Second option is, right click the missing file and select Reload footage. It shows a pop up with the complete path of the file mentioned in it.

Let us know if it helps.

Thanks,

Nishu

Thank you! The second option worked. Indeed the message about missing file shows the last known path in full. Hoever in Project window I was not able to see it.
