how to set the default for new shape layers AE

When creating a new shape layer my default setting is 1300px for the stroke and a grey color, and the fill is white, which is somewhat annoying to change for every new shape. It'd be great to be able to set the default to a more standard 20px stroke/black and white fill...

It also seems like this default setting is NOT the original setting but something that I might have created at some point and is now stuck in default memory.

Any suggestions?

I will try that ( after I finish this project ) Just wondering: will this also change other things like my workspace etc...?

Finally got to reset the preferences and yes it works and actually if you set the fill and stroke in the tool window to whatever default you like, it seems like that becomes the default from thereon... you have to make the window/frame for the tools a little bigger so you can see these settings. By default you do not see them.

when resetting the preferences ( alt option shift during opening AE ) all preferences are gone though, including the workspaces you may have saved before. The workaround is to copy the ModifiedWorkspaces folder BEFORE you reset the prefs and copy them back in after the reset. The location for the prefs is easily found by going into the pref setting's of the general within AE - button at the bottom.

Thank you Roei for the correct answer! Cheers!
