i can’t find the contextual task bar after hiding temporally and inot know how find now

    Correct answer CORCTON34033231

Correction: Warren Heaton is right — After Effects does not have a Contextual Task Bar. My earlier reply (marked as the answer) was incorrect here — the steps I gave only apply to Photoshop/Illustrator, where the Contextual Task Bar actually exists. Thanks for the catch.

    Something worth noting:

After Effects does not have the Contextual Task Bar.  We’ll find that in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Please see @CORCTON34033231’s reply on how to locate it if not seeing it.

    Hi there,

Were you able to fix it? If not, can you share more details about the which task bar exactly are you looking for?

Moving this thread from Bugs to Quetions for troublehshooting.

    Thanks,
    Nishu

That one trips up a lot of people — it's easy to hide and not obvious how to get back. Just go to Window > Contextual Task Bar in the menu bar and turn it back on. If it's already checked and the bar still isn't showing, toggle it off and on once and it should reappear.
