Question

I can't resize effect window in a simple way and I can't make it bigger than 1024

Hello,

I am learning to use after effects. When I put an effect, it always creates an effect window of 200x200 pixels, and to change it, I only find that I can do it in Preview region, is there any other way to change it that is simpler and more accurate?

And it doesn't let me create effect layers bigger than 1024 pixels, how do I do if I have a bigger composition to create an effect?

Thanks in advance for any help.

In your other post, I encouraged you to spend some time in the Learn workspace (Window/Workspace/Learn menu). Now, I'm encouraging you to spend some time with the User Guide.

After Effects is an incredibly complex application, and you will be wasting time if you poke around in the UI and try to figure out how it works.

Hello Rick. I'm doing a course so I'm not doing this alone. But in the course they don't teach how ti change the effects window that is created when you use an effect like noise or make it bigger than 1024 pixels.

Would you like to change the size of the editing window? Did you change it from Composition menu > Composition Settings > Basic tab?

Hello. No, I want to change the effects window that shows when you use effects like noise.
