I can't see anything in the window, I can hear sound, yes I know it is audio file but I put a audio spectrum  effect on it and don't see the composition window and it looks like it is rendering but nothing come ups.

I just got a Lenovo IdeaPad 110 w/ a AMD A9 7th GEN graphics card a few days ago and been wanting to edit videos on it.

Hello,

Did you try to turn on the visibility (eye mark) of the file named Testing.mp3 on the timeline?

First, try setting the comp resolution to Auto and setting the magnification factor to Fit. Your comp panel could just be out of the panel.

Second, I'm a little worried when you say Edit Videos and After Effects in the same post. AE is for creating shots, motion graphics and composite that you cannot create in a NLE (non linear editor). AE is not a video editing app. Most comps are a single shot and you then edit them in Premiere Pro. Sometimes you can create short sequences but AE is not an editing app.

Last point, I'm not sure your Idea Pad 110 meets the minimum system requirements for After Effects. 6GB of ram is max and that's not nearly enough to be even a little efficient.

Rick, when I said Video Editing, I meant SFX Editing. I will be using Premiere Pro.
