i need help i cant open after effects says Error while accessing the preferences

    Without actual system information and other technical details nobody can tell you much. Start by verifying your user permissions on teh relevant files and folders or for that matter, if they exist at all. also consider deleting the preferences files so AE creates a new one from scratch with factory defaults.
