Question

I'm still experiencing errors in the Adobe After Effects program!!!

Months ago, I encountered an issue that wasn't resolved, and I had to buy a new computer, only to face the same problem again. What frustrated me the most was that despite talking to seven support team members, having them connect live to my computer, we couldn't find a solution. Their response was consistently to "reinstall your operating system" and then close the case. Since then, three updates have been released, and yet the problem persists. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe software, tried using After Effects without any plugins or additional software, reinstalled my operating system, loaded all drivers from scratch, and had only After Effects on my computer when testing, but the issue remains.

The problem I'm encountering is that After Effects crashes without any reason when I start working on any large project. This error also occurs with Media Encoder.

I've sent error reports multiple times with my registered license, but I haven't received any response. I believe the button there is just for show, as it seems incapable of eliciting a meaningful reply.

Below, I'm sharing the error report.

Did the suggestion above help?
Feel free to reach out. Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for now.

Thanks,

Sorry for the delay - Adobe product teams go on break over the Christmas/Holiday period and many of us are just getting back to work and the forums today.

A few things I see in the crash log (and thank you for that):

* Do you multiple GPUs installed on your machine (perhaps an integrated Intel and an Nvidia GPU)? If so, can you disable the Intel integrated one?

* Can you uninstall Animation Composer 3 and see if the problem persists?

* Do you have the OpenCL and OpenGL Compatibility Pack installed from the Microsoft store? If so, please make sure it's running the latest version. If not, you do not need to install it.

* Do you have any repro steps, or particular actions you're taking in After Effects that cause the crash? I see a lot going on with Machine Learning related features (perhaps Rotobrush?) in the crash log.

* Are there a lot of Expressions in your projects? There also seems to be a lot of expression scripts running.

* Also seems like a good amount of Classic 3D layers in action? Is that true?

Unfortunately the thread that the crash information says is the crashing thread doesn't contain a real stack to work from.

Are you able to share a project that causes you issues so that we can try to reproduce the issue internally?

There is support for other issues, why don't Adobe employees support me?
