i've been having trouble clearing disk cache.

I've noticed only recently that whenever I opened After Effects, I'd consistently get a pop-up that warns me about my disk cache being almost full, and like normal I purge all memory and disk cache like everyone else would. But although it would say 0KB after doing so, if I close the application and open it up again, the pop-up comes back without issue, and when I try to clear it, it would say (insert number) GB once again even after I cleared it. 

If someone can give me some advice, please let me know! I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm using After Effects 2023 on an i7 2022.
