Question

I was working on a project last night and i had accidentally kicked the power bar of my computer sadly shutting it off and losing my progress (more info inside)

When i got to start up the project where i had previous saved it (and the auto saves) my after effects completely crashes. Any other project that i try to open works completely fine, can i fix this anyhow?

    Sometimes a corrupt project can be retrieved by importing it into a new project, rather than opening it.

    Are you saying that all your auto-save projects are also crashing?  That seems very strange.

    An intermittent power interruption?  I'm pretty sure you're hosed.  Sorry.

    FYI: It's happened to me.  It's no fun.  You have to rebuild everything unless you have the periodic backup enabled.  Then you only have to re-build some of it, and not all of it.
