Identical text layers have different weights

I have two text layers, these were made in different comps. Both have the exact same properties and font, yet one has a thicker weight compared to the other. I’ve copied one text layer over into another comp to compare the two. There are no effects, strokes, or text animators applied to the text layers.

    Correct answer Paul+Conigliaro

Could the 2nd layer have Faux Bold applied? In the Properties Panel, it’s hidden under the Text Panel’s menu in the upper right.
