import psd layers in AFE

i can't import a PSD with layers because the window where you specified that dosen't pop up, what do i do? 

please help!!!

Double-check that the layered PSD file is in RGB color mode (recent versions of After Effects support CMYK, but something unexpected could happen) and is saved as a PSD and not a PSB.

 

Be sure to try File > Import... rather than the quicker ways like drag and drop.

 

If you still can't get it to import as a Composition, post a screenshot of the Layers panel when the file is open in Photoshop.
