Question

Import Unreal Camera Data into After Effects

Anyone have any luck getting a camera out of unreal and getting into After Effects? I'm not having much luck online finding a solution besides exporting from Unreal to Cinema 4D and then into AE. I'm trying to find a solution that doesn't include C4D, as we work with Unreal, Maya and Max. Working with 2022 and 2023 software.

Unless someone has created a set of scripts or an armature/ plug-in for UE and the counterparts in Max/ Maya I don't think there's anything of the sort, especially since Autodesk seem to have abandoned their AE live links for Maya and Max.

Thanks, that's what I found as well and it seems over the years the programs were always hit or miss with working with each other on both sides and then when they switched to python 3, they just gave up on updating it. I've seen some hacks online to keep it working, but was hoping someone knew of a tool. We'll probably just grab a seat of C4D to bridge the gap until someone has a better solution down the road. Thanks!
