Import video question

Complete beginner here...do be kind. When I import a video clip into AE to stabilize camera shake, the image is tiny. I'm assuming I need proper settings on my dslr, which I did set according to the manual. Do I need to alter them at import? Any help greatly appreciated.

You are zoomed out from space at 4.2 %. Zoom to 100% or whatever. You may want to read the online help at least on some essential basics or you'll forever get stuck on such trivial things.
