Importing Grass Valley files crashes the new AE and ME

Hi All,

Curious as to what is happening and I am glad I can use AE and media Encoder 2018 as a workaround,

but upon trying to import any Grass Valley avi file (Edius's editing platform codec) into the new updated AE and ME 2019

they both become none responsive and crash. I have tried playing around in general settings, reinstalling the AE update and

even reinstalling the Grass Valley codec, importing previous settings, but the problem persists.

However it works like a charm in the previous 2018 versions.

Did support for this codec drop or something? Or do I have to do something special to get it working with the new versions?
