Importing .mov file from procreate crashes after effects

Hi guys!

 

i`m having this weird issue when importing any animation exported from procreate in animated HEVC format (.mov) which causes after effects to stop playing anything on the timeline, crashing instants later. i can`t use .mp4 cause i need the transparency info for compositing.

 

any guesses?

Which version of After Effects are you using?

If you have Premiere Pro, can you verify if you experience the same behavior in Premiere?

Without any system info and other details like exact specs of the file, hardware acceleration settings and so on we can't really tell you much. Also what about PNG sequences?
