Importing PP project into AE : timeline is blank

Hello

I firs though it might be because i was using two different versions of PP and AE so I upgraded to the latest verisons for both PP and AE today. But still when I import the premier pro project the time line is blank. all the footage is showing but when i scroll over the clips they are blank.

I am quite inexperienced in AE so even basic tips might help here.
